Tenacious Tape can be used in conjunction with Seam Grip™ and other urethane adhesives for ultra strong repairs. Includes one 3″ x 20″ (50 cm x 7.5 cm) strip of tape, 60 sq. inches (375 sq. cm).

Tenacious Sealing & Repair Tape holds tenaciously!

Clean and dry area to be repaired. Trim loose threads. Join torn edges of material.

For smaller repairs, cut tape for appropriate size, allowing overlap of repair of at least 1 inch (25 mm) in all directions.

Round the edges of tape for best adhesion.

Remove paper backing and apply to damaged area over hard, flat surface. May be applied to outside surface or inside surface depending upon cosmetic preference, or both sides for the highest performance repair.

After applying, rub with pressure using circular motion from center out. Item may be used immediately. Adhesive reaches full strength in 24 hours.

    Adhesive Option

If more permanent repairs are desired. Tenacious Tape can be used with Seam Grip® or Aquaseal® Urethane Adhesives. If used in this manner, follow adhesive application instructions and overlap the adhesive with Tenacious Tape by at least 1 inch (25mm).

Once adhesive is fully cured, the tape may be removed if desired.

    Storage and Care

Store unused portion of tape in sealed plastic bag.

Tenacious Tape is washable. Do not dry clean.

Users immediately notice the very strong ‘tack’ to the adhesive. Many users have also commented their pleasant surprise at the precise fabric and color match to their gear. Users also consistently notice that the tape is much less stiff and ‘bulky’ than duct tape, allowing garments and gear to flex and pack up normally.

Tenacious Tape is indispensable! Don’t leave home without it. It sticks so much better than duct tape and doesn’t leave a sticky residue if you decided to remove it later. It’s perfect for quick fixes in the field or even permanent repairs. I love it because I can put it on fast and it is sticky as heck. When I get home I can peel it off cleanly if I want to, unlike duct tape, and do a more elaborate repair. I burnt a hole in my sleeping bag and threw some on before any feathers escaped. It was perfect and is still sticking to the spot over a year later”

“I have used this tape to repair two tents and a sleeping bag. The tent has seen at least two weeks of compounded use since and the tape still holds. The sleeping bag has been used and washed at least half a dozen times since. In both cases, the tape shows no signs of loosing strength or wearing off. It is better than duct tape. And the clear tape works great with just about anything.”– Matej, New Orleans, LA

Seam Grip® permanently repairs common pinholes and tears in your outerwear. Apply just enough Seam Grip to cover the hole and spread 1/4” (6 mm) beyond. Allow to dry level overnight. For 2-4 hour cure time, mix Seam Grip with Cotol-240™plus before applying.
